Mountain biking in Tanzania
Mountain biking is becoming a more popular way to enjoy some of the incredible scenery in Tanzania. Mostly operating in northern Tanzania, there are a number of places where you can undertake a full or half ride. Biking on Kilimanjaro. The superb downhill ride down the rift valley escarpment to the shores of Lake Manyara are fine examples. The latter offers you the opportunity to see birds and wildlife on the shores of the lake and if we organize a vehicle to collect you, then you won't have to take the long slog uphill!
We can also offer longer mountain bike safaris, like the Ngorongoro to Kilimanjaro trek featured here or a 14 day Nairobi to Dar es Salaam trek which can be offered on request.
